As infuriating as the protesters are, we should keep two things in mind about them. The first is that there are very few of them. They’re among the craziest and most easily manipulated Trump cultists out there. The second is that the protests are not spontaneous or organic. It’s an astroturfing campaign by Republican donors and the DeVos family. NPR did some investigating on this. I really doubt it will catch on…how many Americans really want to commit public suicide?
