I am a lifelong democrat. But man, to throw out the best, Franken, and to have feted the worst, the NJ Hung Jury indicted senator, congratulating and inviting him back to congress, a much worse “sinner,” just to prevent Christie (NJ) from appointing a republican to the seat. I get it. It is politics. And hence, that is it for me and politics. Too un-moored.
